Marta is a Chicago native and began training at the Pivot Point International Academy. During her time there, she competed in the Midwest Beauty Show for “Women's Trend Cut and Style” against 132 competitors from all over the United States. She finished first place in this competition and was scouted by Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa. This was the launching point for her career and she began work immediately. Marta cuts and colors hair that is tailored to the unique features of each client that sits in her chair. She strives to bring out their best features; the right kind of cut and color combination will make those eyes, lips or cheek bones just pop! She is a huge fan of keeping up with the most current looks and the ability to implement these changes on her clients. As personal styles change through the years, one’s hair should reflect the way they feel now. Updating one’s hair, either for a subtle or dramatic change, is a way to reinvent oneself; her goal is to show the client how to achieve this. She is constantly striving to reach new goals in the hair industry and is passionate about participating in educational classes, fashion shows, and photo shoots.
